Who is CarryMyCareer for?
Military spouses who want a career that keeps going through moves.
Is it free?
Yes. The free plan includes automated resume tailoring and a basic 5-section prep brief. Create a free account to save your work.
How is this different from SpouseWorks?
SpouseWorks is a great free program, and we link to it. We add a layer on top: planning timed to your PCS, and a tailored resume for each job.
Is Jo a real person?
No. Jo, our AI career guide (coming soon), will always be labeled as AI. People on our team will handle anything Jo can't.
What do you do with my data?
We never sell it. You can ask us to see, export, correct or delete your data at any time. We answer within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first. Some records, such as billing records or data under a dispute, fraud review or legal hold, are kept only as long as the law or that matter requires. Resume files you upload are read in your browser and the file itself is not stored. Resume text you paste into the tailoring tool is sent to CarryMyCareer's own server so we can check it for base, unit and orders details and tailor it. It is processed only for that request, is not logged, and is not sent to any AI service or other third party. It is saved to your account only if you choose to save your reviewed copy. Only the profile fields you confirm (name, headline, most recent role and skills) are saved to your profile, and saved data stays until you delete it or it is deleted under our retention rules.
